This Privacy Policy describes how the Company handles information related to all Abaque™ products, including the Abaque Google Sheets Add‐on, the Abaque Macros Google Apps Script library, associated template files, and the abaque.app website. In this Policy, “the Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Conception Logiciels SoftPro Inc., located in Quebec, Canada.

1. Data Privacy Philosophy

Abaque is built on a strict “No-Access” model. Financial data passed to Abaque’s custom functions and library macros is processed exclusively within Google’s Apps Script runtime. This data never leaves Google’s infrastructure.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information required to operate the Service, manage licensing, and provide support. Subscription payments and billing‐related metadata are handled by our authorized Merchant of Record.

• Identity Data: We collect your email address and basic metadata to manage your license. If you submit a support request, we may collect the Google Sheet ID solely to verify your subscription status. Identity data is retained only for as long as necessary to operate the Service, provide support, or comply with legal obligations. Retention periods for billing‐related metadata are determined by our Merchant of Record.
• Email Delivery Data: When you use Abaque’s email‐notification features, the recipient email address and message content you provide are transmitted through the abaque.app hosting service solely to deliver the message. This data is not stored, logged, or retained after delivery.
• Payment Data: All subscription transactions are processed by our authorized Merchant of Record. The Company does not store or process your credit card or banking information. The Merchant of Record provides us with non‐sensitive transaction metadata (such as your name, country, and subscription status) so we can manage your access to the Service.

3. Third‐Party Services

Abaque products interact with the following Google services:

• Google Sheets API – to compute GIFI-compliant account balances by passing spreadsheet range values (journal entries, account balances, and GIFI codes) to the GIFI_21_BALANCE and GIFI_BALANCE_CARRYFORWARD custom functions, which are processed exclusively within Google’s Apps Script runtime and returned as computed results to your spreadsheet.
• Google Apps Script (UrlFetchApp) – to securely transmit email‐delivery requests to abaque.app, where the email is dispatched on your behalf.

Your use of Google products is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

For payment processing, subscription management, and tax compliance, we use a third‐party Merchant of Record. Their privacy practices apply to all billing‐related data.

4. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Quebec Law 25)

The Company does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

GDPR (EU/EEA): Users have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of their personal information.

CCPA/CPRA (California): California residents have rights to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Abaque does not sell personal information.

Quebec Law 25: Quebec residents have additional rights under the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, including the right to access, correct, and request the cessation of dissemination of personal information.

5. Cookies

The abaque.app website uses essential session cookies required for core site functionality. No advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies are used.

The abaque.app web server also maintains standard access logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and traffic‑monitoring purposes. These logs are not used for analytics or profiling.
