Support Request Guidelines

Abaque checks your spreadsheet for structure, consistency, and accounting compliance. When something doesn’t match the documented requirements, Abaque returns a detailed error code to help you correct it. Most of these messages are caused by data entry issues, invalid arguments, or accounting‑logic problems in the spreadsheet—not by a technical problem with the add‑on.

Before sending a request, please take a moment to review the documentation for:

• Chart of Accounts
• Journal
• Sales Tax Logic
• custom functions such as GIFI_21_BALANCE

To keep support focused and efficient, please note that we cannot assist with:

• bookkeeping or accounting logic
• unbalanced or incomplete Trial Balances
• invalid GIFI codes, account numbers, or predefined pairs
• incorrect sales tax attributes or jurisdiction mappings
• incorrect range definitions (such as items, transactions, or prevBalance)
• incorrect arguments passed to custom functions
• any error returned by GIFI_21_BALANCE, including E_CF, E_GI, and E_SU codes
